It's been 12 years since we started this adventure, I came to this country out of necessity like many immigrants, without speaking the language, without money and without family, only my 4 young children and I, since my dad had passed away shortly before and soon after my husband, doing weekend jobs that would allow me to be with my children during the week and be able to take them and bring them from school. I was a promoter of different product brands on the market such as energy drinks, tequilas, and soft drinks. Then I was invited to work as a magician's assistant where I was "stabbed" with swords and "sawed" into several parts in a magic box. It was good experience but I was barely making a living, so when a fellow clown invited me to work as a face painter at his events, I accepted the job without knowing anything about painting and art and the challenge that came with it. After a few weeks on the job, another professional clown noticed me and offered me an opportunity to work with him and his brother as a clown at events. The very next Monday, he had started teaching me how to make up my clown face, he gave me my first costumes, shoes and wigs, my first box of fully equipped face paint and most importantly he gave me my clown name "Nena la Payasita", a character for which I owe him so much. I taught myself to work, little by little, Paco started introducing me in his shows and taught me how to make figures with balloons, which I did for several years until I was able to do the work by myself and buy my first 2 botargas of Mickey and Minnie, which became the faces of the company. It was hugely popular and soon, Themisland Entertainment was born. We now have more than 100 characters available for children's entertainment and promotion for companies. This business has given me the opportunity to support my children and to show them what the American dream is all about in this beautiful country.

Hace 12 años que empezamos con esta aventura, llegue a este país por necesidad como muchos de nosotros, sin hablar el idioma, sin dinero y sin familia únicamente mis 4 hijos pequeños y yo, ya que recientemente había muerto mi papá y al poco tiempo después mi esposo, haciendo trabajos aquí de fin de semana que me permitieran estar con mis hijos durante la semana y poder llevarlos y traerlos de la escuela, así que estuve de promotora de diferentes marcas de productos en el mercado como bebidas energéticas, tequilas, refrescos. Luego me invitaron a trabajar como asistente de mago y si me cortaban en varias partes en la caja mágica y me clavaban espadas en un pedestal, pero no se ganaba mucho dinero, así que un compañero payaso me invito a trabajar como pintacaritas en sus eventos, sin saber nada del arte acepté el trabajo y el reto, después de 2 semanas de trabajar con él, otro compañero payaso me vio trabajando en una fiesta y me pidio mi numero, al siguiente lunes el ya estab en mi casa enseñándome como maquillarme de payasita, me regalo mis primeros vestuarios, zapatos y pelucas, mi primer caja de pintacaritas completamente equipada y me llevaba a trabajar con él y su hermano a todos sus eventos, lo mas importante el me dio.mi nombre de payasa "Nena la Payasita" personaje al cual le debo muchisimo, me enseño a trabajar, poco a poco.me fue introduciendo en sus shows y me enseño a hacer figuras con globos, así estuve por varios años hasta que pude hacer el trabajo por mi misma y compre mis 2 primeras botargas de Micky y Minnie, así sucesivamente fuimos siendo del agrado del público al grado de ahora tener ya más de 100 personajes disponibles para el entretenimiento infantil y promoción de empresas, creando así "Themisland Entertainment" trabajo que me ha permitido sacar adelante a mis hijos y tener una vida digna en este hermoso País.
